Nuget   Cross Country Rider [Nov 11, 2004]

Being that its 15 min. from my cabin its a great reason to bring the bikes with up north. And an even greater reason to escape the fam and get some riding in. Rolling terrain, bogs, lakes, views, pine forests, climbs, downhills(watch for hikers). Mainly fireroads, plenty of riding for a short afternoon. Northing too technical but a great ride none the less. Wouldn't search it out as being the best trail for riding but if your camping be sure to bring the bike. Watch for 1" diamter sticks. One ate my rear deraileur, deraileur hanger, spokes and wheel.

Some of the best cross country in the state. The trails are fun to ride because you actually go somewhere.
