Great place to work up a sweat and have fun, too. Gotta share the road with all types so keep others in mind as you cruise through the woods. Park at the Interpretive Center lot as it serves as a great trailhead so you can run loops and come back to your vehicle to rehydrate, etc. Besides, you need to get a map there to truly navigate this place. Dirt paths, gravel roads and even a low-bridge under the railroad track make this spot a good choice for anyone who wants to have a great ride. And near the SW end of the ride, you can jump back into civilization and hook up with the roads and bike trail in Faribault. Ride all the trails and you will get a workout that is a blast!

Customer Service

Paved paths near the Interpretive Center give a smoothe ride for those who like that. If you like more, read on:

1. Experts: Owl and Maple each has a killer climb over loose gravel/rock/roots and you can do them both in one loop. The Maple climb at the N end of her loop is impossible...I can hardly walk up the durn thing. Take the downhill ride from Honor Point onto "Trout Lily" and enjoy the river to your right. Stay right and you'll turn a bit Left as you see the OWL climb. Two huge trees have tipped over at the top where you take a RIGHT and head to the Maple Climb. Then take Walnut to the Overlook and cruise the Overlook grass trail back down.
2. Fun spot: North Ridge Overlook. It has a small single-track that lets you carve a sandy turn around a small tree going one way. Then turn right around and see if you can climb back up to do it again.
Fun Spot #2: the rock ledge area just N of Honor Point. Good spot to warm up with some skills. Then cruise down some loose gravel to the innocent-sounding 'Trout Lily' path....hope your brakes work.
Fun Spot #3: Cross the old tressle bridge going S...the first path/rut on your left is a blast to come down.
