Clinton River Park Trail - Trail, Sterling Heights, Michigan

Clinton River Park Trail - Trail, Sterling Heights, Michigan

DESCRIPTION

The Clinton River Park Trail is located within several City of Sterling Heights Parks along the scenic Clinton River. The trail is a multi use trail, and currently a bi-directional out and back trail. The trail starts on the right about 40 yards in on the right of the paved path. It tends to stay wet after a rain since its heavily shaded and in lowlands. If it rains you might want to wait at least 3 good hot dry days to get rid of the major flooded areas. Some of the high ground will still be rideable. When I get to the flooded areas I've always found some logs to cross on foot. This is a pretty beginner track that will build up any first timers confidence yet giving them the taste of whats to come if they keep at it. Highly recommend this for anyone just starting out.

Great trail for first-timers. This is where I first started riding and still go often just because it's a 10 min ride there. Not too much to bomb but some fun easy riding. Gets wet and stays wet for couple days.

Customer Service

Start at Edison court. It's a single track and traffic goes both ways. The map can help since the trail is cut into 4 sections by paved paths that you have to navigate to the next trail.
