Edwards Creek Trail - TRAIL

Edwards Creek Trail - Trail, Greenville, Michigan

The Edwards Creek Trail is in the city limits of Greenville. The trail head is shared with the Flat River Rail Trail ,which can be ridden for a four mile warm up. The Mountain bike trail is very technical with short steep climbs, off camber turns, roots, rocks, jumps, drops, berms, creek crossings and flat out straights. The trail is packed into a small area so you are never far from the car. There are currently about 7 miles of single track. Also there is a one mile childrens loop and a two mile Expert loop. We are working toward another 3 miles of single track. This trail is in the city limits and can be ridden during hunting season

The Greenville trail system has grown into a 20 mile ride. The 7 mile Edwards Creek Trail connects to the 8 mile black top circle of adventure which connects to the Shearer Rd 5 mile single track trail. This trail system just keeps getting better.Within 30 minutes of this trail there are 4 other single track trails with another 31 miles of singletrack.
All The trails in this area are maintained by MMBA.The members do a great job of keepeing these trails in prime condition for riding.

This trail was fun! It wasn't as technically challenging as I was hoping, but still a good time. The trail winds up and down over and over again and the climbs are about the right length. It seems like the downhills were always followed by a sharp turn or obstacle so you are always working for speed. Love the banked turns everywhere, they help keep the momentum. I would say the obstacles here are similar in challenge to those of Burchfield. Very efficient use of land, trail seems well cared for. Jumps and/or drops are petite and kinda wimpy. This place has potential... I will ride this sucker again, but it does fall second to Burchfield for the area.

WOW!!! Well maintained great design and layout. Fun and challenging Tight trail twisting and turning through the woods and along the creek. Lots of obstacles including bridges, boulders, berms, T.P's, teeter-toters, and elevated trails over swamps. Not to mention great scenery and wildlife.

I checked this place out for the first time today. I have to say I was very impressed. TONS of ladders, bridges, small jumps, and endless technical terrain. A lot of the stuff seemed to be recently updated. You can make it at hard as you want to make it. There are bypasses for the harder stuff but I would say jsut do it. The signage is good. No map, but the trail itself is well marked so you will not get lost. Definately a great trail to train on.

Customer Service

One way. Give the narrow creek crossing a try and make sure you hit all the bridges and ladders. Just make sure you make it all the way around the 7 mile trail.

Edwards creek, created by a mad man. Even though its an intermidate course, it will wear you out. I would really lean toward Advanced. Very slow course but crazy technical, unless you stop theres is no rest till your done. It is the best training course out there.
