Well, there hasn't been a review since 2003 so I thought I'd chime in. This is a fun, flowing, mostly fast-paced 7.8 mile loop. It's broken up into 4 parts separated by 3 dirt-road crossings. It's beginner and intermediate skill level. A few technical sections, but mostly fast and flowing. A few climbs, but none too strenuous. A few fast downhills. Quite a bit of sand, lots of roots, a couple bridge crossings, 1 or 2 log crossing. Great scenery through hardwood forest. This is a fun trail. You can take it easy and enjoy the nice scenery or push hard and do 2 or 3 laps and get a great workout. Also this trail is locally referred to as egypt valley.

Customer Service

On the road crossings remember to go RIGHT on the first, LEFT on the second, and RIGHT on the third. All are marked well, though.

Similar Products Used: Cannonsburg ski resort. Only a few miles away. Much more technical. Intermediate and advanced. Not for beginners. Steeper climbs and descents. Lots of switchbacks. Very fun! 5.5 mile loop. Plus there is a trail going straight up the ski hill.

I love this trail. Sure there is a big sand spot but in reality where isnt there one. This trail is both extremely fast and also great hills. All in all the trail is bar far one of my favorites. Excellent shape year round. For Expert and up I would recommend doing several laps. I time trail this trail on Sunday mornings before the slower people get there. Do not time trial this during the week its pointless and you need to respect other riders.

Moderatly easy trail. Lots of ups/downs. Trail rides fast, not real technical or difficult. Lots of variety in places. Lots of sand. Trail well mantained. Great trail that gives begginers a good chalenge, but a bit on the easy side for me.

Customer Service

Despite all the use the trail is in ok shape. There is a tree down in the first section before the creek. The Western Chapter of the Michigan Mountain Biking Association has a work day scheudled there on Sunday, August 29 at 10:00 am. Remember September is start of Small Game Season and the trail opens to hunters and closes to Mountain Bikers until January 30th.

Customer Service

The only way to go. North from the 4 mile road parking lot. The loop is about 7 miles.

great little trail, but all the traffic blows. I know hunting season is the only time to beat the traffic, but you cant ride then. So, if you want a laid back place to ride...keep driving north on beltline to Robinette's.

Customer Service

The Larger loop. There is two, if you want a short ride ask someone how to find the short loop but the long is best.
