nonotuck park - TRAIL

nonotuck park - Trail, Easthampton, Massachusetts

The trails in nonotuck park consist of a race track where races are held thursday nights and then other trails that branch off and eventually loop around. During rainy seasons the trails have poor drainage so it can get quite muddy. There are also a fair amount of roots and fire roads. There are also a lot of bridge crossings. The trails range from beginner to intermediate.

The trails in the park are fast and fun but not very technical. The place can turn into a mudpit with small amount of rain. If you ride there you also have to take into mind that people often walk ther dogs there. It is a fun place to do an easy ride. The race series is nice place to try racing. It is too bad that the lazy morons who put on the race never clean up there course markings.

New trails near White brook middle school haven't been destroyed by quads.

These are some good trails to ride for the day. You can cover most of them in a day. After you are done riding ride back to town and to the 7&11 and grab a slurpee.

Customer Service

try to follow the race track as best as possible. there are some muddy climbs that are pretty much impossible. It's some decent single track that is pretty quick and technical.

These trails are pretty sick! There are quite a few roots and a lot of bridge crossings. They are fun trails to ride for the day and offer something towards all levels of riders.

Customer Service

Just take the track! It's pretty sweet! Fast single track in a lot of areas! Plus some nice puddles to cool you off.

Similar Products Used: The DOC trail on Mt. Tom reservation is a very fast, technical trail that I would recommend for only a good experienced rider. It's a very good trail though! Also the M&M trail is decent!

The Trails at nonotuck were good...at a time, now the quads and dirt bikes came in and wreaked mostly everything.

These trails used to be cool you could get into quite a groove but nowadays between all the construction going on back there and the weekly MTB races which have put quite alot of stress on the trails it has gotten quite bad. The riding is techinical in some places along the river but it isn't going to last forever in just 3 years I have seen it get worse in there.

Customer Service

Go behind Easthampton high school to the fields and Nonotuck park is right behind there. From there just bike whereever the trails aren't very long.

I grew up in the area and used to ride these trails all the time. This is where, in the late 80's and early 90's, I learned to ride. The trails in this area offer fun, technical, rocky-at-times riding with great views of the Pioneer Valley from up on the ridgeline. Although I no longer live in Mass, I visit a least once a year and was stunned on a recent hike in the area(12-2002)to see the entire system of trails now closed to bikes. What a waste. It looks like biking on Mt. Tom--like skiing--is now history. While no longer legal, these trails still exist and offer good(three tire rated)riding to the fat-tired outlaw.

M&M Trail, old Mt. Tom ski runs--It now appears that this area is off limits to mt. bikes.

I race here in the summer, the only reason I rate this high is because I place well and the course is fast.
