on the left (downhill) it starts out kinda steep for about 100 yds, and you come to a water crossing which is crossable on bike. then there are a series of hills ancurves. Depending on the season, this is a great area to blueberry pick.its kinda hill but very little mud and at the top of each hill, there is a great view. trail lengthj about 3 miles. On the right: more of an xc/water trail. more of a pain definatly not ridden as much however in the very very beginning, there is somthing ssssssssslightly resembleing a course. The first mile is great , little petteling involved. But there is one pain in the *** water crossing that often dicourages riders who dont feel like staying and lookin for a croosing so they ususally come back and go the other way. But... coming back is great for building up skill on uphills because even though its not steep, its a long slight angle and is rocky. trail on left is al;ittle more technical. Maby a little more fun IF ANYONE IS PLANNING ON COMING HERE, PLLLLLLLLLLLEAEPLEASE EMAIL ME @ mtnrider@gwi.net

on the left (in directions)is the downhiil track on the right is th xc route, .the route on the left takes you to river road.you can turn left at the end of the road and take another left(1/2 a mile down )on to again (after the landfill sign)if you take the left side(downhill track) you come out on another road, (take a left on that road, dont know wat its called) stay on the roaduntill the quaker meeting hous again, and then fallow directions to get back to car. These are simply the on road directons, of couyrse its nore fun jut to come back the trail.

Wasn't what we expected. Short woods ride until you get into the housing development. Then to the road to get to the powerlines. Very wet and very heavely rutted line riding. Came across several spots where it was a marshy to small pond crossing. Non rideable. Had to wade thru them. We gave it the old college try, but we were dissappointed with it after having been given such high marks. I wouldn't even catagorize it as expert. Not tecnically difficult just geologically difficult. Glad we tried, but probably won't do it again.

Single track, pipeline and powerlines behind the Congin school in Westbrook. Straight up from the parking lot takes you up to a couple of rides. Follow the buried pipeline and you will intersect with the Prides corner trails. Take a left into the woods and it is some really challenging single track. Great place to practice technical riding.
