This trail is a seriously diverse trail. Ranging from smalls hills, roots, ruts, hard pack, asphalt, bridges and mud. There is a nice pump section way in the back of Trail C. I would advise to steer clear of the trails after a rain unless you are running 2.35's and seriously want to crank otherwise on great weather days you can air up and haul ass.

Customer Service

If you ride a hybrid, stick to the driveway. If you ride XC then this place is for you. I you freeride, go to Whistler.

This trail is all right. I'm not sure how to rate it as it is near Lafayette, and there isn't much else to ride in the Laf area.

This trail is flat, buggy and really in the middle of a swamp. There are not a lot of other riders here most of the time , so it's advisable to come with a friend. You will need help if you fall into one of the many bayous and swamps here as the alligator is swimming towards your head.

This place often gets over looked because Baton Rouge trails are close. Its an extremely nice park, very clean and its very well taken care of. I know and see one of park custodians riding around on his ATV picking up trash and taking care of trails.

The trails are not technical and not very hard. My buddy and I call it the "ROOTS" because it has alot of exposed roots and tight turns. Only two flow sections that can get you going. Don't be confused by my ratings. If you pedal fast, the trail will challenge you aerobically and it will be more technical because of the speed.

Customer Service

I would take interstate 10 to henderson exit to levee road and follow signs to lake fausse pointe. Easy Enough!

I road this trail a few times, like reviewer above its a great place to take the family, there is pavillions, pic nic tables, bbq pits, paved road riding, water park, canoe and boating. Goof beginner stuff if you like the south swamppy scene this is for you, dont go shortly after a rain it will be muddy flooded and wet. There are snakes on a lot of the trails, and tons of armadillos. Twice I saw 2 deere running off through the woods. For the most part the trails are nice and kept up, with gravel, wood bridges and dirt. A must of you like swamp scene and wild like on the trails with you :-)

Customer Service

Take the short trail A your first time around, or to take the young ones on thier first ride, if they can handle the roots and armadillos after a break take them on trail B, this one is a little longer mostly flat with a few mud or water spots after a rain with some exposed roots here and thier. If the young ones do good on trail B and you think you can take a little more then your all set for trail C the 3 mile trail and its a treat, around the back site it gets kinda hilly which is a change from the rest of the flat trail and the soil gets a little more sandy on the ups and downs which is a great change up. Along the ways you will see boy scout primitive camp sites " I would never camp here " I would be to scared to get blue runner snake attacked at nite or carried off by armies of armadillo's LOL but a great place during the day when its dry.
