Wilson Lake Trail - TRAIL

Wilson Lake Trail - Trail, Russell, Kansas

fun singletrack in scenic vista, makes you think you are in Utah, with buttes and mesas, yucca plants, etc. 8+ miles of trail, with some challenging hills and few rocky sections; most is sweeping open runs.

I've probably driven by the exit to this trail (exit #206) on I-70 a hundred times on my way out west and never knew such a great trail existed. It's just unreal, you definitely don't feel like you're still in Kansas when you're on this trail, that's for sure.

I would highly suggest putting this trail on your riding agenda if you're headed down I-70, you won't be disappointed.

I posted a longer review with some pics over on SingleTracks:
