i am pretty please with this trail. as far as living in dupage, this is the best i have found. you get to it right off of butterfield road across from home depot. it isnt maintained very well because it is illegal. its fun. pretty small but good enough for me to get my fix. some rolling hills and dives once you get about 3/4 mile into it. lets just get some more bikers in there and fix this place up and it could be a top trail. especially for the location. lots of potential for good lines

Whats the deal on this trail? Is it singletrack? Does anyone work on it anymore? I'm local and I wouldn't mind helping out to get another great mtb destination going.

Long steady down hills, tricky turns, stright down hill. Open gravel road (how fast is fast)my hart skips a beat when I hit the lose at the small turn. Going to the top of the mighty hill, vere letf at the gravel circle 1st left to the top, trail to the right takes you back to where you came from, this trail is fast quick and long.two down hills 1st trail to the right. Keep going you'll pass over laid concret,to the right is the remains of the gravel road, stay on that trail you'll go to the noll. If at the top of the steep hill go stright 1st trail on the right takes you to a down hill twist and wines to the back of the Speagle building, right, grassy over growth makes the trail hard to find,it's there! About 50-60'to the right! The prize! Hit the mud bridge up a slight hill open paved down hill 1/2 mi. This is my favored! Dirt barricade, tricky, that's the end you can keep going tp Finley. I go to the right to the 88 bridge and back.

If you just want to have fun this is a great place. It has some interesting parts and is easy to get off the trail and plow through knee high grass. I go all over to ride trails especially northern Wisconsin but this is a fun trail for all levels of experience

Fun ride in my backyard. It seems more people are riding here as the trails are not getting overgrown. I've noticed a new log bridge and a log ramp over a creek bed. Its all good. Someone is doing some work. I also noticed that a lot of the larger logs across the trail have been cut and removed. Who? & Why? I'm not an trail building guru but why remove challenging obstacles?

Park in Hidden Lake lot...ride over bridge then a hard left , head east up into trails.
