Nice long endurance test(easy pace - 2.5hrs including bluffs run, add 30-45 if you are out of shape and have to walk on the way back). 5 miles downhill, 5 back up. Not too bad of a grade and its a nice wide fire road, so pretty easy lines(though lots of loose baseball size rocks covering a few sections). More of a fitness/scenic ride, nothing I would call remotely technical. "The Bluffs" 1.5 mile shootoff at the top is a nice little technical section. Moderate single track with 3 main climbs and the rest downhill/flat technical sections. Creek crossing was pretty muddy, my only off of the day due to the stump in the middle.

Unicoi is a much better trail if you're looking for something technical.

This trail is pretty fun on the way down. There are a few short rock climbs, but it's not very hard. You can get going pretty fast on some part and there is a beautiful view of the lake, but once you get to the turn around, it turns into a pretty difficult climb the rest of the way back to the parking lot. It is pretty much up hill the rest of the way. This is one of the more senic trails I have ridden, but not one of the most technical trails(I can promise you that)

I found this trail on another MB site. I have now ridden it and want to share my opinion. The trail is located in Tallulah Gorge State Park. The gorge is awesome, the waterfalls are beautiful; the trail is okay. I was somewhat dissappointed in that it is all fire road - no singletrack whatsoever. Also, the trail is not technical at all - the difficulty of the trail, and the reason I call its skill level intermediate, is in the climb on the way back. If you are going camping and want a place to mountain bike as well, go check this place out. If you just want a good ride and that is all your doing, go to Bear Creek.

This is a very good trail to ride if you want to relax a little. Nothing technical, but very good jumps on the rocks - good for FS bikes 4.8 miles down and then another 4.8 miles up. Trail for everybody. If you are sure that there is no one going up you can forget yourself and go, go faster, faster I said.

nd like other said, all up hill on way back. Did'nt get the section with view.
Ranger at Interp center told me about new single track that is being built. They will tell you how to get to it. They are working on making it a better place to ride. Very Mtn Biker friendly people there.
I liked it and will go back when i have more time to ride / explore.

Starts inside the park and is pretty much all downhill. You can get some pretty good speed over the last 2 miles and there are lots of small jumps. Definately gives your shocks a workout! Ends at the Tugaloo Lake boat ramp (a nice place to sit with your feet in the water ;) As others have said, the return trip is all uphill. Don't be tempted to take the gravel road back from the boat ramp, it is insanely steep for 4 miles.
