Alford Greenway - Trail, Tallahassee, Florida

Alford Greenway - Trail, Tallahassee, Florida

DESCRIPTION

Easy wide singletrack through woods and over pasture. (60 acre pasture and 820 acre woods.) This is a good ride for a view of what real Florida is: lakes and cypresses. Connects to Piney Z forest management, the Cadillac trail, and Tom Brown trails. The Alford Trails proper are only a short few miles, but the total miles of connecting trails are a worthy ride.

This park is boring. Would advise avoiding as a time killer. Trails are way to easy, just some trees and grass.

Easy wide open trails with a few spots of single track.

If you know the route, you can connect up to the Caddillac Trail by crossing the tracks at Piney Z. Then you can hit all the stuff in Tom Brown Park and eventually the Fern Trail for a long off road ride without having to mess with traffic.

From a wildlife and nature standpoint, a very nice trail, although not difficult. This is ideal for families or people who want to get away from things awhile.

Customer Service

Connect the trails and Tom Brown and Miccosukee Greenway. You can do around 20 miles offroad out of 24 total miles.
