You would be hard pressed to find a more fun trail this far South in Florida. This trail has skills areas, drops, big dips, some short intense climbs and tons of winding single track.

It also seems that the Florida Water management is getting more cooperative and the trail is really flourishing, great place to ride!

Just an update, SFWMD has taken a bit of a turn and it being alot more cooperative. While there are still many things that need to happen for this to become a legal trail were no longer at odds with any of the parties involved and hope to have legal access soon!

I just rode this trail this morning, and i got in just fine. The trail is definatly ridable and fun, but it is fairly run down. Few good drops and bridges throughout the entire trail. The signage is very limited, so it is easy to get mixed up on which trail your on, and when crossing under the bridge it does get very sandy. Other than a few minor flaws this trail is great for intermediate+ riders.

This trail is currently out of commission. In correction to a previous post, it is not at the fault of the new owners of the land, who have been very protactive in trying to keep this trail alive, but by the staunchness of SFWMD and their BUREAUCRAZYSTALINSIMNESS. Though they have tried to disguise their reasoning in any many ways, it basically comes down to $$$, as usual. Show me the $$$, we give you the land.....

Customer Service

None at the time. Overgrown wasteland thanks to SFWMD

Bad news. This trail has been closed by developers who bought the property. There's a fence with no trespassing signs. I imagine some guys are still sneaking in, but that might not be good P.R. for the trail people trying to get the trail re-opened somehow.
It's a shame, because it was the best trail between Ft. Lauderdale and Ocala or Lakeland.

I have been here once and it was by far the best trail I have been to yet in south Florida. The only problem is that it has a fence blocking the way with no trustpassing all over it. My buddy and I just went around the fence and had a great time on the trail. Since it had signs about no passing we just decided to park our car at the hotel right out front of the trail and road our bike back to it. The trail is groomed very well and has no sugar sand to slow you down. The bridges were fun and made a great asset to the trail. I just recently found out about this trail and im going to keep coming back for some more fun.

Great trail...for the area. There are some great locals who are fighting to make this a biking park. There are some nice dips and bridges. One long log bridge that is a challenge. It is not soft sand and they have done a good job with rugs, mats etc to help the pace. Not the fastest trails b/c of turns and roots but good fun. Thank you to all the builders...you are an asset to the sport and keep building fun jumps, drops, etc.

Customer Service

On exit 129 off 95 ( the skin road between turnpike and 95) get off 95 towards turnpike. Go till the left on to turnpike and U-turn at the light to get on the turnpike...immediately on your rt before the Holiday is a dirt road. The trails are at the end of that. The property is in transition.. so behavior and ride within your skill limit. Don't mess it up for all.
