A little bit of everyting here. Great place to learn to ride switch backs. That unamed road is Gungy. Best place to park is about a 1/4 mile past powerlines. Go in the summer and stop at the creamery on the way out.

Customer Service

Ride anything but orange and red are my favorite two. There are also a few good drops and roll-ins here. Word of warning in the spring do not attempt to cross the stream on powerline trail !!!on or off the bike!!! the bottom is often a bog and you will sink. I sunk to my waste in one step. The bridges in this same area have exposed nails watch your tires closely.

I have been twice (as said before) both times in winter. The hills kicked my butt every time because I,m not use to switchbacks. There are a couple trails which cross over powerline areas. Great views!

Customer Service

I have taken the Orange trail the two times I have been there. There are many to choose from, just have fun!

Rode the orange and silver trails. The wet leaves from (Oct 21 & Oct 22) made the turns a little rough. Can be very rocky in areas, minor water. Well maintained and marked clearly, you would have to work hard to get lost.

Customer Service

From route 82, take Darling road, to Gungy Road park entrance on left. Take the orange trail to the School Room for deatiled maps.

I start off on the Orange trail, and when intersects with the red trail, veer off on that one. There is a mix of everything here and it is almost impossible to get lost. Some good switchbacks and very, very technical decents/climbs depending on which way you go. Maps are available and if not I can e-mail you one. Also, if you follow the main fire road until it ends, it starts you on the Nehantic St Forrest trail system, which I have yet to explore.

Customer Service

From Rt 82 west, take the first left past the Rt 11 overpass. At stop sign go straight. Take first left on to Gungy Rd, and follow for aprox 2-3 mi. Parking area is on the left.
