Wells Woods - TRAIL

Wells Woods - Trail, Columbia, Connecticut

Where do I start - this place was good right out of the gate, some rock ramps for airtime, flat bridges, stone wall crossings, then gonzo stone wall riding. Great rocky technical sections, tons of slick rock and quality made in USA bike stunts like "blind faith" and "real consequences" and "ginko biloba" because I cant remember any others. We are pretty sure aliens made this trail - gonzo stuff for all the extreme riders. And surprisingly a bit of vertical for a short ride. Check it out - this place is a pukemaster special!!

Does this trail still exist? I live nearby and just realized today that there are trails in the area.

Anybody that's been out there lately, please let me know. -Matt

Stunt filled loop. Some man made bridges and jump/laning ramps. Lots of natural drops of all heights and an overall good ride even if you skip the stunts.

The yellow arrow trail!! Park your car on the side of the road near the end of Wells Wood RD. The RD is a dead end and at the very end there is a dirt road. You can go riding down here but you can get lost for hours on end. I did this w/ my buddys and it took like 2 hours to find the main trail again. There is tuns of single track w/ good technical sections. If you are looking for an awsome ride w/ cat walks, drops, realy technical sections exc. Then you want rhe yellow arrow trail. To ride this trail, back were you parked your car there is a small trail in the righ side of the road. I flew by it today and didnt even see it. There is a small yellow arrow under a red sign, this is where you venture in.
