If you don't have the initative to find this place by yourself, you probably won't want to make the drive...take about an hour from Ft Collins.
Anyway, this trail is GREAT for beginners or intermediates. 3.5 miles to the top, then you can bear right and get some great mountainous views and play on some fun little fire roads for more of a workout. Although just doing the 3.5 miles is a great work...took me 45 minutes but like 99% of it is rideable at any level. It's also 1800 feet of elevation gain at altitude (comparatively speaking). I think one of the best trails in the area for getting a good burn.

I would love to tell you where in the state it is at, but then I'd have to send the black helicopters and storm troopers to your house to "silence" you... Sorry.

Customer Service

No real route. Get on your bike, go to the top then turn around and go down. There is also an upper Dadd gulch that I once found on the map, but it turned out to be a major dissapointment.

This is a great trail, one of many in the region, and I will agree with another reviewer that the upper most part of this trail is a bit difficult and disappointing due to downed trees, ruts, etc. The upper section is exposed to a lot of sun so pack a lot of water or a Camelback in the middle of summer. There has also been some trail repairs going on as well.

Customer Service

explore this trail along with some of the gravel roads in the region.

This trail is OK and I stress OK, it's not all that but a piece of good singletrack (to short) that leads to fire roads. Without adding the fire roads it's quite short and (personally) not worth the drive. Black helicopters, what are they growing herb up there?

Customer Service

Up, hit the fire roads, do the loop and back to the truck for malt beverages chilled by frozen H2O

lets all be elitist scumbags, OK? Not sharing the love can do you a lot of harm in the long run. Trails should be enjoyed by all who can handle 'em. Spread the love.......ya dig?

This trail is ok. Not that big of a deal to keep secret. Besides if it is on this webpage it is no secret. If you can't find the name of a town on a map, you shouldn't be mountain biking.....ya dig????
