possible dual slalom coures - Trail, Colorado Springs, Colorado

DESCRIPTION

ok, this is just an idea. I would like to build a slalom course (single, dual, or even quad), and possibly a trials course, or even a downhill course. We would obviously need land, preferably as steep as possible. if you have any ideas, please e-mail me.

this would be a great idea. i know some kids who would be willing to do it. the b-more hill wouldn't be that bad except it's owned by some devolopers but it's worth a shot. another idea is find a hill in a public area (cheyane canyon) and just cut a trail. talk to the city first but if you need voulunters i work at old town bike shop. come in and talk to me!

What about the area that is just to the south of Filmore, west of the interstate, at the top of the hill. sorta by coronado high school? I know that there is legal access to this area from a group of nature trails that are at the south end of that park. and there are lots of steep hills and fun short climbs there.

We actually started one here about 4 years ago. After we left it, some BMX kids went and built huge jumps on it, but for the most part the courses are still there. Half the work is done for you already, go build some trails.
