Upper and Lower Flume Trails - TRAIL

Upper and Lower Flume Trails - Trail, Breckenridge, Colorado

Mostly single track. Watch out for all the construction going on. Many new homes are sprouting up near the trails. Mostly flat, few climbs. Cool part of the trail is that for part of it you are riding in a flume. Check out the cool flume descriptions on Lower Flume Trail

Ride is challenging to access and mostly flat, following contour lines rather than taking advantage of better downhill options in the area (colorado trail). Not very well established single track, lots of loose rock sections.

Similar Products Used: colorado trail from Kenosha to Georgia pass then continue down into breck for one of the best rides out there (23 miles or so).

Nothing special but makes for a great acclimation ride for those who don't live at 9600ft. Climb up Upper Flume to middle flume which is generally flat but has a double set of offset singletrack which is sort of fun to switch between. Mike's trail is a short decent downhill. Middle flume and lower flume is pretty much flat.

Customer Service

Parked by recyclind center. Rode Lower flume to upper flume to Mike's Trail to Middle Flume and back to Lower flume to the car.

Similar Products Used: Peaks trail from Breck to Frisco. Nice downhill at the end.
