This is just a flat, wide, rocky Jeep track basically. Pretty darn boring. Only good for connecting Doudy Draw to Marshall Mesa. Its one saving grace is its beautiful views of the foothills.

Customer Service

Only use it to connect Doudy Draw and Marshall Mesa.

Looks like nobody has reviewed this trail in four years & my understanding is that there has been some work done on it so things may have changed. This is an easy, EASY trail and it's also a really fun little ride that you can do on a lunchbreak if you're close enough. There's really no adrenaline to be had here but some nice scenery & a tour of at least three ecotones. A lot of people here don't seem to understand proper trail manners so please set a good example by keeping your wheels on the tread, stopping for other users & riding only when the trail is dry. Also note that this is an off-leash park so you will see roaming poochies.

Customer Service

Park in the main lot & ride counter-clockwise. For a little challenge, take the spur that heads south to the top of the mesa.

Unless you are a beginner, this trail is total bore. It's the perfect example of Boulders idea of a mountain bike trail: rocky, wide, flat (except for the short entrance climb) and short.

A great way to see boulder from a distance. Some good technical sections. and the climb is always a great way to start a ride. A good trial to bring beginners. I wish it was a lot longer.

Customer Service

start off by going up the climb to the left. loop around with the trial facing the mountains. Keep riding untill you hit a wooden bridge. go up the technical portion and ride to the T. then turn around and come bombing down.

It's ok and worth some scenic merit, but there are no technical sections. A good trail for the beginner, or an easy spin for the more advanced. It's worth a ride if you've never done it just for the scenic views alone. However based on lack of technical sections and pedestrian/equestrian traffic it only gets 2 flat tires in my book.

Customer Service

Only one route that I know of.

Not much in the way of technical riding. A good place to take beginners. Some good views of Boulder and the Flatirons. A bunch of riders from the office use this route as aerobic training, spinning on the flats. The only workout is the climb out of the parking lot, and some rocks just after the bridge. For an interesting diversion, cross the stream before the bridge, when the water is not too high (can't say if the water's clean or not). Heading west, follow rolling terrain beside the ditch and eventually end up at Eldorado Springs. The other route is to turn left at the top of the hill and join up to Marshall Mesa, but that's mostly flat, ending up on Hwy 128. Only 2 flat tires for lack of challenge.

Customer Service

Park at the Marshall end of the route, climb the hill from the parking lot, and head southwest towards the foothills. Extend the ride into Eldorado Springs by crossing Hwy 93. Return along the same route, or cheat and follow the pavement.

This is a lame excuse for a trail. Boulder is the biggest joke in mountain biking--the riding sucks in Boulder--mainly due to the fact there is nothing legal to ride. This city is full of yuppie, SUV driven' techie nerds who hike or worse yet--run! Come to Colorado Springs for some real riding!

Customer Service

Parking lot and keep on the trail to you meet Hwy 93.

Fun climb out of parking lot but short. Great place to take a beginner or an off day training ride. Easy ride. Experienced riders will become bored very quickly.
