I road last week, post flood. Trail is in good shape. Road up from West Canyon. Pretty steep, but I clean it all but one spot on my SS.

Customer Service

Up and out Wood Cyn. Left and up Lynx. Left on West Ridge then down Rock-It.

First off, you may choose not to listen to me... I have only been riding for a few months, however... in those few months I have ridden about 4 times/week and I have probably ridden this trail 25 times. Lynx is definately my favorite trail. Very fun to speed down and very technical in some parts. Today, I took quite a fall on it and brushed a few ticks off my legs, but all-in-all... this is a great trail. Sure, it looks like it has seen better days, but from what I have gathered by speaking to others, this trail is in much better shape than it was a year ago.

Customer Service

Up Coyote, up Cholla, down Rock-it, back up Cholla, and down Lynx.

Similar Products Used: Rock-it is a little longer, but not as technical.

Well what to say. I have lived in the area and have been riding in Aliso for a lot of years. Lynx. Well it used to be a cool trail and had fun twists to it. As the area becomes more and more overpopulated, the trails suffer. Most people do not realize or want to accept the fact that when it rains, you stay the hell off the trails for a minimum of 48 hours. Lynx has become one of the most abused trails in the wood canyon area. People who do not fully understand how to ride a trail, they drag the back tire and ride when the trail is still wet. Causing massive damage. So I will tell you this, Lynx used to be a really fun trail.

Customer Service

Not when it is raining.

aliso/woods

Similar Products Used: Mathis trail is in the same aliso woods canyon park and it was just graded from a singletrack to a fire road. it actually made the trail harder to stay on your bike all the way up due to the steep terrain with soft dirt under your tires. Probably one of the steepest ways up to thye top of the world in laguna beach . always a great workout.

Descending Coyote is an air mail package on wheels but not so difficult that intermediate riders can pick their way down without risk of long term traction. A great goal for every rider could be to climb it, no dabs and without barfing up a lung. Ride it within your heart rate, pedal after pedal and remember in that tough middle section, that all good things do come to an end. Somehow life is better at the top.

Customer Service

Lynx must be done fast & furious as should rockit. Car wreck should be taken on a little more carefully 'cause it gets HAIRY at the bottom.

Customer Service

Park by church, up Cholla, down Lynx, back up Cholla, down Rockit, up Mathis (now flat & worthless for the downhill) & down Car Wreck (what is that called?) back to the church for a hand full of hail mary's.

Awesome trail that will serve as a benchmark for other Aliso Wood Canyon trails. Some steep technical sections with switchbacks. Very fun to ride. If you make it down, move on to Car Wreck!

Customer Service

Up Mathis, continuing to top of the world. Catch your breath and enjoy the view. Down West Ridge, taking advantage of single treks to your left and down Lynx. A great ride!

I love to rip this trail 2 to 3 times a week. I always go w. the flow on the downhill letting my friends eat my dust. For those of you peddling up watch out for my tread on your helmet. See ya at the bottom
