Elliots Crossing on the Rubicon River (South East of Auburn) - Trail, Georgetown, California

DESCRIPTION

A 20 mile out and back which is 100% singletrack climbing along the hills and countryside near the Ribicon River. This trail is a good mix of just about everything, smooth fast singletrack, technical riding, rolling hills, and beautiful countryside. The trail is pretty remote so it doesn't get the traffic that a lot of other trails get which makes it more appealing to me. If you are in the area it's worth the drive. Check out the photo's and longer ride description on the listed website.

Rode this several years ago. From what I remember it was a good trail and generally fits the description above. It is "way out" though, and I wouldn't suggest doing it alone (like I did)

There's some stuff around Bald Mtn/Rock Creek if I remember correctly. I went on a guided ride out there once and it was pretty cool, there are some long climbs and descents if you know where to look. I rode out there a few times by myself and found some of the same stuff that I rode on the first ride.
