My brother and I did this trail in February and it was a blast. Not too hot and loads of places to ride. Trails can be faint but great views and both ups and downs. We made it to Sugarloaf Peak and then did a loop back to the start point. Best to stay way east of the canal for the best riding otherwise you get sucked into riding ATV roads and lots of meandering roads around lagoons or marshes. The guys at the bike shop in town don't know squat and were totally unhelpful.

This trail is a great workout. I ride it at least once a week if not more. The great thing about this area is you can change your route and basically ride a different trail every time due to the other trails that intersect through the area. It has many hills and some pretty fast downhill type sections that will keep you on your toes. Just make sure you lower your tire pressure so you get good grip on the loose rocks and sand. Great trail!!
