snow world area - TRAIL

snow world area - Trail, Zoetemeer, Nederland, Europe

Cool free access area, built on an old rubbish dump of Den Haag and surroundings (read: big) Mostly bridleways and firetrail like gravel paths. Also has a permanent MTB course, which is pretty good. Look out for the switchbacks on the west side of the southeastern hill. Also danm challenging to climb.

Altough im not riding that long, this place is boring. There are some pritty heavy clibs but that it, i know 2 places tot do a bit DH... This trail is used by the Dutch NK this year (dutch championships). One tip, if youre standing in front of snowworld, go right and next to the buildings there is a nice hill :)

The trail is well marked with signs. It starts of with a ride over flat terrain. Be carefull after 200 mtr when paddling next to the road. There are some steep climbs and fast ascends. Be carefull halfway when going downhill!! If sparks are flying from you're brakes you might have a chance to take the turn at the end. On the top there is some gravel/debris so choose the right tyres for extra grip. I used semislick which did not work out on the gravel.
Overall a good trail, except the underground sucks.
