Bunyola Downhill - TRAIL

Bunyola Downhill - Trail, Bunyola / Mallorca, Europe

The trail is quite rocky and has some tight turns trough the woods after a Kilometer check out ! There's a little singletrack at the right side - go there. It's narrow and rocky. Follow this trail until you hit a broarder trail. Turn left and after some hundered meters you will see the Casa Forestal. Leave the casa behind you and follow a rocky singletrail downwards. This trail goes along right beside the well. After 200 Meter watch out for a green gate. You can open it (and please close it again after passing) and follow the trail downhill. After 2 Kilometers the downhill becomes trial-quality. Extreme rock sections for the advanced riders. Further down you'll cross another gate and still follow the trail. After 4 Kilometers you enter a road which heads further down to Bunyola After another Kilometer you hit the Raod to Bunyola PM 202. That's near the place where the description started. The Downhill is really fantastic. It has fast sections as well as very tricky ones. Beside the quality of the track you enter a fantastic piece of nature. The wood is sometimes really spooky and has some mediteranian "Blair Witch Project" quality. The Downhill has a length of 7.16 Kilometer (measured from the highest point down to the Road PM 202). My average speed record was: 27,41 Km/h Max. Speed was: 44,90 Km/h Time: 15 Minutes 43 sec.

A great DH/Freeride-Trail at Mallorca which I can recommend for the advanced riders. It's a bit hard to get to the top of the start because first you have to do an uphill of 2 kilometers on rough terrain, but the work is worth it ! Where do you have a DH-course from this lenght ? I did it twice this month and my times were: 13.7.04 - 16'18"; AVS: 26,78 km/h; V-Max: 43,6 km/h Length: 7.12 KM 10.7.04 - 17'32"; AVS: 25.14 km/h; V-Max: 44,4 km/h; Length: 7.12 KM

I choose the route which has been discribed above.

Similar Products Used: The Downhill from the castell'd alaró. It's also worth trying but not that hard !
