Like they said above this DH track is Fu^%ing nuts. It is really steep and the rocks are no joke. I went over the bars twice on one run and if it weren't for my chest/ back protector I would be in a world of hurt. LOTS of fun though. Most of the tracks end near the cable car and once you are there you can get a beer or a Dohner and wait for the next lift. if your fast enough you can catch the next lift and hurry to the top.

There are a lot of grumpy people in this town, not super bike friendly even though there is a bike park in it. One of the Downhill tracks could be a World cup track, lots of rocks, pretty wide open. Think that might be the only trail worth riding there though, Easy shuttle by car, or there is a lift at the bottom of town. The slalom and 4x track have a gravely surface and were not very good, rolled down a couple times and left. There is a chairlift, think it runs only certain days. Xc was flat smooth fireroads.

I just rode the park yesterday and the MTB park is in need of some major repair. There are some fun Trails in the park ALL of which need repair. Where to start. The Duel Slalom course is very short and not very technical and has lots of areas that have been washed out. The Biker X course is very fun with lots of berms and table top jumps. The berms have WAY to many breaking bumps and some are even eroded from rain. The table tops have absolutely no lips and the its very slippery with very loose dirt on top of hard pack. The North Shore stuff is really fun but is to short. It has two lines that converge into one. it has one teater and one drop, it to is in need of repair but nothing major to make it unsafe to ride. There is a DJ area that is absolutely crap. its all over grown and there are no lips in the jumps. the DH course is NOT for the faint at heart. If you dont have a full blown DH rig, i wouldnt suggest this course, it is very technical. right of the bat it is the longest rock garden Ive have ever ridden. with some nice drops coming out of the garden right into another one. BUT, the DH course is fun. the rating is for the entire MTB park. i gave it a low overall rating for the amount of repair that is needed. Oh And the lift was Broke so we had to walk everything we went down, The DH course is the only exception because you could catch a train back to the top of the hill.

This trail is good for any skill level rider. I actually just recently got into it but Im hittin' doubles at badwildbad like a maniac. Top speed freeride trails, narley downhills, and a high-flying slalom. Good enough for my money.

My friend Brandon and I decided to go to this park and ride this past sunday (13 Aug 06). The park is not hard to find. just follow the directions in the review before mine. The freeride trail sucked. It had a few small jumps and no real drops or hucks. The 4 cross track was cool but is kind of short. Some parts of the 4x track needed to be regraded due to errosion from the rain we have had this past week. The jumps are decently built so you can get some good air time. The down hill track is insane. We rode the course but it is so ruff that you can't find a good line to take. Bring lots of tires and tubes because you will get pinch flats. There is a small dirt jump course at the top of the hill behind the food stand. It was to wet to ride the northshore route. Didn't want to kill myself. The lift system is T-Bars so it may take you a few times going up the lift system before you get used to it. Good luck and ride free! Biking is not illegal!

Autobahn A8 is ok. but if you drive towards Munich you are going in the opposite direction. You have to drive to Karlsruhe. When you reach one of the exits at Pforzheim there will also be a exit to Bad Wildbad or Wildbad.
