Douglas Park - TRAIL

Douglas Park - Trail, Regina, Saskatchewan

Douglas park is a short and boring place to ride but it is a great place to train because the hills are short and kind of steep and you can realy work yourself to the limit if you're there for long enough. There's nothing technical I've tried to do a few things but they didn't work, the descents are very fast and there is a killer jump at the bottom of one of the fastest descents.

It's got races every tuesday night in the spring and summer with tech brought to you by the ski-shop.

Customer Service

Do anything you want you will not get lost and if you do well you shouldn't be lost for more than five minutes.

Similar Products Used: Wascana trails. it's fun riding lots of challenging climbs and some fun and steep descents, and a few teeth chattering descents once you get your bike up to speed. It's another great place to ride.

This place is like home to me, and I'm more than familiar enough with the place. If you're hanging around Regina with a few hours to burn, then come out here. The trails on the hill are worn-in, but there are still some hard climbs and fast descents in there. Overall, a good place to ride, but not one you should make a point of visiting.

Customer Service

There isn't really "a line" in this park, just a network of trails. The S-Curve on the front is pretty cool, and be sure to go east of the hill behind the trees and try the log hill.

Similar Products Used: There's Wascana Trails, which is pretty cool and suprisingly technical (for Saskatchewan). If you've got a car and want to travel, hit the Claybank Game Reserve, Regina Beach or Blackstrap.

This is a hill with lines going up and down it. You can ride through the trees but that is as exciting is a strole through the park. There is one line that is off to the side that tries to be techniqual. It's is as good as DP gets. One pro is that it is impossible to get lost.

Customer Service

I recommend that you route detours away from this place.

OK the stuff you guys say is true but this trail is BORING! I hope you guys aren't calling the Devonian Pathway a MTB trail because I've biked all over Douglas Park and there isn't much there besides the "Mountain" and a few homemade trails throught the trees along the lake. The "Mountain" is only exciting for the 1/2 second it takes for you to ride down it and even then it suck cuz all the little kids on it. If you can't make it out of the city this is your only choice. Locally I don't think you can compare it to Wascana Trails or hell even White Butte, it pales in comparison. My advice make a day out of it and go to Wascana Trails before you guys fall asleep and fall over from Douglas Park.

Don't waste your time here! Let's see, there's a couple of climbs and descents and a little bit of non-technical singletrack. Wonderful, eh?

Customer Service

Just ride around

If you have never ridden a mountain bike before you might want to try this place out to get your courage up going down hills, some climbing skills etc but it gets real boring fast. I do ride it every day on my way to work/school as it's close by.

Customer Service

It's the highest point of land in Regina besides the dump in the north end. Ride towards the hill.

At this place, go to the place where all of the tree stumps are piled up. If the Park Authority hasn't been there lately, there will be highly technical lines of tree stumps and toned-down North Shore stuff (sometimes). Everything else: only used for training.

This is really a waste of time. There is one hill with a few ways of climbing it and going down it. As well, there is some small sections of singletrack through the trees near the hill. Not worth the effort to visit. If I could rate lower than a 1, I would.

Customer Service

It's the only high point in the south end of the city. You can't miss it.
