Not a bad trail if you go the oposite way round (CCW). Otherwise, you're going uphill pretty much the entire time, and you come back down in 2 super steep hills loosely covered in rock. Not very fun. I prefer just walking up those sh_itty sections.
Wherever there is a sign that says 'no bikes' you're pretty much guaranteed a more technical ride, i suggest you take them. They are usually short and cut through winding sections of trail.

All in all, not worth the money if you're parking there (13$).

super si vous restez pas trop loin, sinon le detour de vaut pas vraiment la peine puisque la piste est trop courte.A moins que vous aimiez faire plusieurs fois la meme boucle de 20 minutes

LIke the other reviews said, mainly for cardio and wide-track. Not for spending the day there. I did find a great singletrack but it brought me to the way other side of the mountain!
Good for beginner's to practice their gear-shifting and cardio.

Customer Service

Charging $3.00 a bike plus parking for two = $13.50. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
Definitely not worth the money.

Cardio cardio cardio. That's it . Only one downhilling that I almost killed myself, cuz someone didn't respected the riding directions ... thanks to my disc brakes. Go look at rigaud's reviews , you have the cardio and technical part for intermadiate!!!

I was quite disappointed with this trail. It is supposed to be single-track, but it's a double-track. The signage (trail direction) is terrible. We ended up going the wrong way, and had to push our bikes up the downhill sections. There should be a trail map at the trail-head, like the one at the summit; it clearly indicated the trail direction. There were also hikers on the trail, even though they have their own trails at the other end of the parking lot. It's a little disturbing knowing that you might come around a corner and slam into a hiker! It would be great if there were some technical trails, with switch-backs, bridges & teeter-totters. That would definitely make the $3.50 access fee more worth it.

Customer Service

It's a loop, so you only get to do the one trail!

As mentioned in other reviews, this is indeed a cardio oriented run. A 5' wide bulldozed gravel road in the woods. The trails are mostly up and down, not much flat. I understand there are other trails by the beach for that. The only technical to be found is in downhilling at high speeds in the loose cobblestones or in the rain ruts, or perhaps riding in the pure bush (possible). Trail is worthwhile for the intermediate rider looking to climb, and descend a little mtn in what feels like deep woods. Great place to improve/learn. Overall: I rate this to be a good traditional XC trail, long hills, with some rewarding downhills, has a nice view at top with tables for rest and possibly picnic. Also has washrooms and bikes washing facilities at bottom.

Great trail for cross-country training. It starts with two very steep and technical climbs. Lots of rocks on the second one. Next you reach a loop where you have to turn left. Climbing is very easy to the top (about a mile and a half). Descent is extremely technical and almost dangerous due to rolling stones, but it is almost orgasmic for 3 to 5 minutes. The way back allows you to return to the loop or returning with a last lung busting climb. It is the closest spot from Montreal with serious MTB.

At the beginning it have a heavy climb (crazy)with a lots lots lots of roch. I suggest you to begin in the pedestrians trail (much better) and join the trail bike after. When go in the top of the mountain in the pedestrains section you have a beautiful view of the lake.In general it`s a good trail.( xc and free ride )
