DESCRIPTION

Vallee Pruneau is an ski center that went bancrupt 7 years ago. The new promoters wanted a place where Mt biker would have their own place, not such as Batiscan where we have to share the place with walker and others like. The T-Bar bring you to the top of the main vallee where there 9 DH/FR trails are availables ranging from intermediate in the Familiale to very extreme in the Richard. Every trails contains a lot of Shore and shortcuts if you want to test your skills. Some freeride sections are considered scary by Shore guy... The Coupe du Quebec will held a competition there in mid-June in DH and Dual. At the time of writing this, barely 7 km of heavy XC are available because some trails were heavyly damaged last winter and there still 9 km to clean (should be done by summer '02). I'm a XC rider and i can ride almost every trail in the place with some very occasionnal walking. You might consider this a pretty good technical pratice! Unlimited TBar lifting for whole day is 15$cnd. The site offer camping facility. Toilet/shower/water are available on site and the village is few hundred feets aways in car to get some food.
