I used to live in T.Bay, I'm in Whitehorse,YK right now but will probably be in B.C. (sqaumish) for the winter. These trails (shuniah) kick ASS!! very technical tight and fun as hell. Everyone in the area should definitly be riding there great place to have FUN. Congrats to everyone who made these trails possible. very well done.
shout outs to all in the area

Shuniah Mines is a trail network I miss dearly. This was my home away from home. Superfun twisty up and down singletrack that will make your head spin. This place is more fun than people should be allowed.

I don't think there is anything left to say except this network of trails are THE best in the area... definitly worth checking out. And don't forget to check out the "Noth Shore" style aparatus on your right just as you enter from the parking lot.

I was told this was the place to ride in Thunder Bay by a few people, and it isn't all that bad. I wouldn't call it "extreme" like somebody else reviewed it, more like intermediate. The stunts are a nice touch, but not quite like the ones on the shore (try raising them 5', and putting them on the steepest slope you can find). Nice signage by the way, it makes it really easy to figure out where you are, and which trails to ride again. Locals were all really nice too. If you're passing through T. Bay, it's worth an hour or so to check out.

A great place for freeriding, racing, or a weekend ride with your family. I wouldn't really call it extreme (as some1 else said) because I'm 12 years old and I have no trouble with any of those trails. I totally recomend it.

Customer Service

Ride past that sign that says no trespassing and turn right and you should see this wicked freeride trail. If you are not in to that kind of riding, go strait after the sign and you will get to ride some nice x country terrain

Nice singletrack if you wear spandex and ride xc.
"North Shore Style"???? you must be kidding, don't even insult the shore by comparing these rickety piles of sticks to the B.C. trails.....what a joke... these are the lamest and most poorly built trails I have ever seen, they are laughable. And anyone who says that shuniah is the best trails in town is sadly mistaken and is giving thunder bay a bad name. Shuniah is embarassing. There are plenty of insane trails in tbay, but they are a secret. Go find them.

Customer Service

dont bother going there.....unless you go to the new and only good part
