Well marked, very rocky and rooty. Supreme Cross Country tours to be had here.

The rocks aren't loose boulders which is a blessing. Lots of climbs, I had to carry my bike a couple of times. Map is a must.

I meant to do Kolapore Church to Paradise Highway as a loop, but due to user error I did quite a big chunk of Northwest Passage. I just doubled back to get back on my route.

This place is stunning in the fall. Warm day, blue sky, no other people. Pine needles and leaves hiding many surprise rocks on the trails.

Customer Service

There isn't a lot of flow to be had through Kolapore / Northwest Passage (and back) / Paradise Highway due to the rocks but there are plenty of fun descents regardless.

My favorite was coming down through 22-55-24.

Rode this trail on the Civic holiday weekend and it was fantastic! I had already done 3-Stage a few times and a guy in there advised me to hit Kolapore at some point. Well worth it! A very good mix of fun techy rock sections, awesome downhills and some grunting climbs. My wife and I were in there for about 3hours and have no idea how much of it we did. look out for hidden rocks in the grass, wifey smashed up her whole bottom bracket on one. :)

Take the top route when entering the trail and at your first intersection, go-left, lots o-fun!!

Customer Service

From Guelph/KW area, take as many side roads as possible to Grey Road 2.

Very very very very very very sick trail, my best time is on this trail, fast pased trail with many forks so its good for all types of riders from beginners to experts. Very fun after rainfall due to muddy conditions, if you like that kind of a ride, but it makes the climbs a bi*ch.

Customer Service

Turn left in the beginning and hit every right untill you start to see signs that say "red death" go down that, its a big, steep oneway hill, very fun, very fast !

Great singletrack about two hours from Toronto and Four hours from Buffalo. Free use but shared with XC skiers so please be polite. Trail Maintenance days are coming soon and again in the spring. The Bruce Trail for MTB; lots of rock and roots, short steep climbs and fun descents. Trying to keep this a secret but couldn't resist the chance to tell thae world what every body on the Bruce Peninsula knows: great technical singletrack and it's free (just help maintain it).

Customer Service

Buy the map at Ravenna General Store or your way there. Then just ride following the signs. However the view from Mt Doulaghari is worth the ride.

Similar Products Used: Three Stages is less than 10km (6 miles) away. Similar trails there but not as well marked, as much fun, or the same great views.

Take highway 26 west from Collingwood to grey county Road #2 just before Thornbury. Go south on #2 about 10 km to Ravenna (don't blink or you'll miss this small community). But a map of Kolapore uplands Wilderness ski trails at the Ravenna General Storee. The trails are about 3 km south of the store on #2 Road (park at the dirt lot on the left. 60 km of marked trails mostly intermediate level but generally a lot of fun. It's free, singletrack and usually not crowded. Tryout jackrabbit and wildmouse areas in addition to above recommended routes. Northwest passage route is also great but very bumpy ride in the first third.

Customer Service

#1 Red Death mark 26 to 54 steep not too hard though
#2 Paradise Highway mark 24 to 54 rocky and great
#3 Mount Dhaulagiri mark 34 to 35 great view and ride

Learn to read your topo map. those lines that are close together mean that the hills can be steep! This trail is awesome with rocks roots and technical terrain. Never crowded and hours of fun. Trails are well marked. Stay away from areas marked marshy, unless you like to push your bike. Northwest passage is a great ride if you have 3 hours to kill. Bring tools or you will discover a new sport called hiking.
Best ride was paradise highway in complete darkness with no BLT. Hit a trail maintenance session if you can.

The trail is really good and well taken care of. There are tons of crazy downhills, uphills, tight corners and fast hard packed section with many jumps. There are many different rides that can easily take up a whole day. Try the red death lookout and check out the scenery at the end. A great place with lots of well maintained bridges and trails that are just peachy to ride.(Don't get lost)

The trail is a great ride with tons of crazy downhills, uphills, and open areas with fast hard packed trails that have many jumps and tight corners. If you are there try red death lookout and check out the scenery at the end. Kolopore has many trails that can easily take up a whole day of riding. The trails are well maintained which makes for a wicked ride.
p.s. buy a map or you will get lost.

we took 'Paradise Hwy' up to Red Death and down again. LOTS of rocks everywhere!! There's a nice downhill on the highway down from the lookout, but otherwise it's fairly tame stuff - the rocks make for a technical ride.

Customer Service

Take Grey Rd. 2 past Ravenna and park at the little lot marked 'skiers parking' trails start just across the road.

Rocks, rocks, roots, slime covered rocks, and oh, did I mention rocks. There's tons of trails but if you like to ride at fast pace you can count on needing your rim(s) trued after spending a day here. There's also a few good hills mixed in with some very, you guessed it, rocky technical sections. A pretty good ride for the greater part.

Customer Service

just make sure you avoid the low swampy area. It's unridable and the bugs will drive you into a teeth-grinding frenzy.
