This is a shared, paved, pedestrian/cyclist trail. The 1.5m width is divided by a painted centreline to separate pedestrians and cyclists, but everyone ignores it. For the most part the edges are maintained parkland so you use your bell and take to the grass. As a main, urban park with a lake, the venue is busy to crowded—not a site for inconsiderate yahoos.
