Gradual 4 km steady climb over a hard pack terrain with lots of baby heads and mouse droppings along the way but no mouse. Once you reach the top there’s some beautiful stunted vegetation along with a great view of the surrounding peaks and ocean. The return trip is a fast, fun downhill, just watch out for hikers. Of the three legal trails in the park this one is by far the best.

Best panoranmic view of area. Slow, steady trip in to plateau, fast descent out. Watch out for moose/cyotes on the trail. Trail is maintained by park and is usually in good shape. Suitable for all skill levels.
