Took the trail down to the power line and then bugged out from there. Trail was a lot of fun but pretty tame, but not lame, in most places. Structures were cool and very doable. Had a lot of fun slaloming through the forest and big ring singletracking. Excellent fun for intermediate riders, probably too easy for the big hit folks, although I didn't get to do the trail from the powerline down. Customer Service Stop at the litter barrels on the fernie side of the 'Welcome to Sparwood' sign on highway 3, as you approach from the west. Get on the east side of the highway and take the old highway road up to the CBC road. When you get to the last steep pitch before the tower, the trail is on the right, pretty obvious if your eyes are open. This is a fun ride but a lot of work to get to. It has a few drops and toys to play on but the actual ride only takes a few minutes compared to the climb to get to it. Would rather just travel the extra 20 minutes and go to Fernie. The ride itself could be handled by an intermediate, advanced riders may be a little disappointed. Still fun though. Tons of wild life, came 20 feet from a black bear. Customer Service CBC or Jeep hill Similar Products Used: Fernie |
