4 Lost Souls - Trail, Coquitlam, British Columbia

DESCRIPTION

This trail was upgraded and was formerly known as Noon's Creek Trail or The Greaser. However, 4 lost individuals (Bryce, Justin, Chris & Mike) decided to rebuild the trail to make it West Coast Worthy. We attempted to use the natural features of the trail as much as possible, such as the car-sized, old-growth tree stumps and granite slabs. However, where the trail was uneventful, we built wheeley drops, A-Frames, teetors, and balance moves. Those who ride the trail will consider it dual-suspension territory due to the 5 or so wheeley drops that range from between 3 to 6 feet. However, hardtails have been known to clean it. Enjoy!

Very good trails for those who like adventure and extra crispy. The trails is very close to my house, and seen a lot of mountainbikers are going to try out the trail.

I really enjoy this trail. I ride a hardtail and found it pure fun. Its not a technicall difficult trail but the stunts are fairly large.

Finding this trail is as easy as my last date after a few drinks. Although this trail is not all that long it is abusive if not qualified. Being a fairly new trail it still needs a little working in (not unlike the "last date" formerly mentioned. The teeter is clever and you need to be on your toes for the drop right after it. The drops are well built and are intimidating to the intermediate rider.

Speaking as one of the lost souls wives, I would have to admit I've actually never gone down the trail, only up a few times helping the 4 lost souls hammer in a few nails and tring to clear space for a cherry ride-down. Falling off a few logs trying to help out was a eye-opener to the say the least. Hats off to these guys for their dedictation to be up at 6am working in the dark in the snow, sleat and of course the rain.

You 4 guys did a hell of a great job and I thank you for all your hard work. I'm a high intermediate rider and just starting the ladders etc. but you gave us many options if things were too difficult and would rather stick to dirt. Great start to doing an EagleRidge Epic ride.

Customer Service

We climbed up Lungbuster the whole way and it certainly did bust my lungs. I like the idea of climbing up the Decapitator and will try that next week. Easy to find, just keep climbing until you see the sign.

I really like the ramp up to the teetor totter and then the drop. Me and my friend are re-creating that in his backyard. The trail is i bit beyond my skill (and insanity) level but i will keep on trying the stuff until i can clean it. I also need a better bike, i can only ride the stuff on my friends bikes. The only let down, to me, is the length of the trail. The 4 lost souls are great builders and they should just keep on building.

Customer Service

Up the gravel road off of panorama and then up the powerlines to the T intersection where the trail. Another way is a gravel road that takes u to the top of the chiropractor, which is also the bottom of the 4 lost souls. I'm not sure exactly how to get to the road but if you know you should post it up.

Great trail, lots of fun, lots of challenges, a little too short. I don't like too much air, so some of the drops are a little much, but the A-frames and most of the stunts are very cool. Should be renamed "Four Lost Greasy Souls" after the original trail name..."The Greaser"
