Gorge Creek Trial - Trail, Turner Valley, Alberta

Gorge Creek Trial - Trail, Turner Valley, Alberta

DESCRIPTION

A 22 km loop through up Volcanoe Ridge and along the beautiful Gorge creek - beautiful scenery but it seems uphill both ways; the initial climb up Volcanoe Ridge is quite steep and has a lot of loose shale which makes it hard to ride up.

Great trail if it is dry, it has everything you want in a trail, climbs, singletrack and views.

Make certain you go when it's dry otherwise it's very boggy. Some great singletrack (not to technical), but ~2 km before the end you can dip into the creek and have a cool bath. You can also terrorize grazing cattle - bonus!
