Great ride from the Rock Lake side. It is bikable our group had no problem. Unlike from the jasper side which is an old fire road this trail is singletrack with some technical. It's worth it to bike from any side the falls are awesome.

There's a few camp gound on this trail, to my knowledge, and to get to snake indian falls I would recommend anyone to get a mountain bike. Don't forget your fishing permit and bugspray. The path is not amazing, it's a fire road. But when you get to that fall it is pretty impresive. You can continue on this Fire Road and eventually hit mount Robson. Write me and I will send you a picture

You need a permit, so go to the park office and register. Beware, the route to get the trail head is 1 way at certain hour.

From the parking lot to the Willow Creek trail the road is wide but very rocky. After 1 km the marked Willow Creek trailhead appears but becomes a single track and tree roots add to the rocks. Ups and downs add to the fun (difficulty). After 9 km and a long downhill stretch, the Willow Creek valley is reached.
Unfortunately, horses had chewed up the trail badly and the swampy conditions turned us back. Another 7 km lay before us to Willow Creek and a further 5 km or so to Snake Indian Falls.
I'm not sure that this is meant to be a bikable route, unlike the easy fire road access from the south thru Jasper National Park. However, the trail is supposed to improve greatly once Willow Creek camp is reached.

Customer Service

From Wilmore Wilderness entrance point at Rock Lake via Willow Creek ("West gateway").

Similar Products Used: The rocky road into Wilmore Wilderness follows the Wildhay River but is sometimes lost at river crossings.
