From my Cat Eye Cyclo, approx 3 km of hard climb from FRIM lake entrance up dirt road to the top of Salem Hi-Country View HillTop (w/ Pine Trees--no kidding). From entrance eye hill, 1st fork take right/uphill. Go down another fork, take right long uphill. Look for left fork to Salem H/Top View. This is nice, cool due to pinetree canopies. At top dismount, savour sights and catch yer breath, cig break etc. Go down take left fork this time down ALL THE WAY about 2 KM. Spy wide single track left. Solid 2 km slight downwards gradient on canopied single track before it exits village at rear of Hospital Kusta Flower N' Grass (no, not that kind )Nurseries. About 1 km on gravel road, spy exit on left(total now approx 8 km). Pass some houses on left, pass rubbish dump area (now don't savour the pong), will exit you neat Kg. Desa Aman (JRD Sports Rim Factory). Con't on TarMac to HomeLife. Find your way back thru' Sri Damansara Industrial Area back to FRIM Taman Ehsan Kepong Lake Entrance. You would have covered a distance of about 15 km total.
Not a technical track, but require some willpower as the climbs can be long w/ up to 10 percent gradient. Good for Cardio WorkOut with friends. I like it for the solace it offers. Haven't seen any other MTB'er on this track yet though.

Being the shape I'm in (read OUT) the path of least resistance would be from the Taman Ehsan FRIM Lake back entrance. Only hard beginning climb to the top, then leave those pedals alone !

It was Tuesday and it is the only day where I can ride together with my wife and we started off as mentioned in this review.Went through the FRIM guardhouse, paid the RM1.00 and continued until I spotted the mosque. As mentioned went behind it and continued off-road.It was a long sloping uphill but I can't finish and have to push abit but the trail came to level and then we continued all the way pass a resting pavilion, a pumphouse (I think) and then we came back to a tarmac road. All in all the off-road was about 4.5KM. We felt we could continue so we went downhill instead off uphill at the tarmac road.Come to a road barrier and we spotted another trail on the left. This trail was more isolated because by the looks of the trail it was covered with leaves. We continued until it gets spookier
(there's only 2 of us,although the feeling is great under the trees)then we U-turned back and head back for the tarmac road. We took the tarmac road back to the guardhouse.By this time the cyclometer is already reading 12KM. Will try to continue on the latter trail if I can find more riders as mentioned by the other review cyclists is rare here.

I tried this route the other review and this week I continued from where we stop. We carry on the trail again and it was a bit slippery this morning. it must have been raining hard last night because we have to carry our ride over three fallen trees. The trail was slippery with the wet leaves and loose stones but it was FUN! We ride until we came to a fork and we took a left and another left when we came to another fork. It came to a dead end but the housing estate was in view. Double back and we took the other trail and it also came to another dead end.must have been the first right on the first fork bacause i can see the trail on the other hill from here. i think that leads to Sungai Buloh. The trails here are endless and we can only ride what we can handle. The trail are not that hard if you do try to show machoness, just follow the flow. If you can't ride uphill, PUSH! Save yourdelf a lot of leg sore later. maybe next week I will try the other trail.
Overall, it was fun and laughter for me and my wife ( only 2 of us)maybe because it was wet.We did 15 kms.off road and 10kms.tarmac.

Customer Service

depends on the individual or where or how long you want the trail to be.I do not have a transporter for my bike and I reside about 4 kms. from the area so my beat bet is from the main entrance.

A good network of trails. Mostly fireroads with few single tracks. The Steroid Hill is one of the major attractions. A good place to start for beginners.

Park your car at the Sungai Buloh Hospital. Ride to the roundabout and take 9 o'clock towards the forest reserve.

The majority of the trails are broad 4wd tracks, but there is an excellent Kiara-esque section that shoots off the Rover track and joins one of the 4wd tracks leading back to the main gate and the staff quarters. This section was built for the Kayuhan Belantara race, but in my opinion is better cycled in reverse. There is a super steep section that is rideable in reverse (just) but which you'll have to portage if you do it the right way round.

Customer Service

The most popular is the Rover track, but there are lots of other smaller trails to explore.
