Stump - TRAIL

Stump - Trail, Levin, Australia

Stump itself is fairly short, probably about 1km long but at the bottom of the track it joins up with another track, Gardiner which continues on for about another 2km. Stump is amazingly steep, this combined with the fact that is very narrow (about 2m at its widest point) makes a fast and tight track. The end is amazing. Its a 2m drop onto a bridge (1.5m wide) 1m over a creek and then climbs another two metres on the other side. Once out of Stump you join the Gardiner trail which is some fast cross country. Basically Stump is a fast technical downhill
