posted last review in the wrong place!. Blue range hut and the whole forest on that side of canberra was burnt in the 2003 bushfires. there is currently rebuilding and a long term plan for a mountain bike park at deaks forest which is closer to canberra. in the mean time we have majura kowen and sparrow hill.

Sparrow Hill, 20km loop of smooth flowing singletrack, rolling over the gentle hills of a pine plantation. No momentum crushing hills here only genntle hills once you get some momentum you keep it.

Customer Service

Ride up the fire trail that runs uphill from the carpark then follow the arrows, Singletrack starts on the right not far up the hill.

This dual slalom track has to be the best in canberra. I rode it a few times before the nationals were on and it kept getting better

The DH is Loooonnnngggg. Average racer will do it in about 7 to 7.5 mins. The course is used for the Australian Nationals and has a bit of everything including a super fast fireroad section a 6 foot plus drop off and three large step jumps near the end that will have you thinking pretty quickly! The course has a 600m drop so the majority of it is fairly steep but not daunting. You'll love it!

Customer Service

Get the Key from the rangers. Corc, The local club will tell you how. And do car lift runs on the Downhill course

Similar Products Used: Isaacs, Majura.....But Blue Range is best!

Wild, technical, heaps of fun. Competed at the nationals and had a ball. Heaps of exploring would pay off.
