some nice downhill runs from the water towers which are at the top of the mountain... some of thses will take you to the quarry, once at the quarry go for a dip or do a lap around it and you will see trails leading out, some of them are worth checking out.

Customer Service

once you enter the area there are a few maps up to guide you along... or you can follow other trails that lead you threw out the park. these trails suit beginers and intermidiate riders. the quarry is definatly worth riding too as there are some good trails to it and the ride is worth it, not recomended for beginers.

(This is my favourite XC training route that invlolves a nice climb and a rough technical downhill loop)Once you get onto the large fire-trail network (known as the woddridge trails as they lead to woodridge mostly) follow the main track that you are on and follow it for a while, dont turn off onto any other tracksyou will notice on your left a track going up the hill, this is the first climb but dont take this take the next track up the hill. When you come to the second climbing track, take it and ride up it, its pretty sanding and lots of ball bearing loose gravel, continue along the the climb as it snakes left and eventually leads you to the downhill section, this is rocky, has lots of tree roots and is very sandy and gravel ridden. Go as fast as you feel comfortable to and the downhill takes a gradual turn left and it shoots you out onto the big fire trail again, turn left to ride the trail again or explore other trails and turn right to get back to the quarry and explore the watertower trails, most of these trails are fire roads that bikes are aloud on, motorbikes however are not aloud and rangers are in force as the entire area is a revegitation area. Ride safely, enjoy the greatoutdoors, dont destroy it and oh yeh, bring some spares!

Customer Service

From Compton rd turn onto gowan rd and then turn left into Kameruka st, continue riding down the dirt until you get to the highway, turn right down a fire trail that runs along side the highway goin southas you ride down this trail the supercross trck is on your right through some short trees. Follow this track you are on and turn left and go under the highway. This is called the first underpass and if you follow the trail up the hill and ride till the end you will find the second underpass and even more trails. Once under the highwayhead east down the main firetrail until you come to a large open area, the actual quarry is on your left but continue down this trail until you get to a large area covered in gravel, this is comonly known as the gravel pit, ride through this and you will come to a large t-junction, this is the start of Karawatha forrest. Turn right down this large, sandy fire trail and ride up it until you come to a small split in the trail, take the left trail and then turn left about 10 metres up this and you are now on a large fire trail network with heaps of dofferent options to choose, the possibilties are endless. Email me if you want to go for a ride and i can gets some mates to get a ride together.

4X4 King

Lots of rutts and hill climbs to do in the 4X4 and plenty of mud and water after it rains. Have fun and dont fuck your 4x4.

Customer Service

Go down Gowan Rd from Compton Rd. Turn into Kameruka St and go over the little hill on the end. Its fun and exciting from there. To go to the Quarry go along the toll road untill you can go under it. There is a gap between the polls and this leeds into a bit of water. Turn left in the water and go along the track. It is a bit tight along there but its really fun. Keep going along the toll untill you reach the quarry and pick any track from there.
