Ironbark Gully - Trail, Brisbane, Samford, Australia

DESCRIPTION

A very intricate network of everything that will take you to practically any other trail in Brisbane's west (if you have the time and know the trails well) (xc, dh, single, fire trail) Always plenty of other riders but never enough to become a problem (walkers are few and far between once you get further in)... Use this network as a shortcut (sort of) to many mt. nebo trails also.. if you don't mind heavy climbs

I ride these trails 3 to 4 times a week as myn morning ride on weekdays and longer rides incorporating these trails every other week end.

Flowing fire trails with good but not extreme climbing sections. Some single tracks that are not marked and some challenging downhill sections that seem to be rarely used.

Customer Service

There are two sets of tracks one set north of Samford Road and a set south of Samford Raod at the end of Lomandra Drive.

The set of tracks north of Samford road consists of a long east west ridge track and roller-coaster parallel valley track joined by a series of climbs. Take the valley track to the Lomandra Carpark and climb to the big dirt stockpile - your choice of left of right to loop back to Lomandra
An underpass at Lamandra will take you to the old railway easement

Camp Mountain - if you are into a more challenging climb and like to spend your gravity credits quickly.

The tailored single track complexes at Gap Creek and Jinker Track are fairly close

A lot fun for anyone who wants to just go for a whole day ride as the trakes inter link and you could just continually ride in circles. After have riden once or twice then you can also ride to your style, XC, DH or even a bit of both as Iron Bark presents some long steep climes and some long techical decents.

Customer Service

Just go to the main Iron Bark Gully enterance and go back the direction that you came from and follow the track and you will eventually loop back around to the car park and if not then just keep riding and you will get there.

Similar Products Used:

Lomandra about another 600 meters from Iron Bark Gully, it also offers a good looping ride that can also conect on to the Iron Bark Gully tracks.
