Trail Description: |
Hike up the trail for 1.5-2 miles. When at the top, turn around and come back down. The top section is steep, rocky, and has a number of tight switchback turns and 4-6 foot rock drops. The trail then opens up to a fire road that has been modified with a bunch of BMX style jumps. This section ends with a 4 foot high-speed rock drop with a very steep landing. The trail then drops through a steep, tight tree-lined section before going into an area with 8-9 very smooth BMX double and step jumps. The final section is a tight and rocky windnig section with a number of man-made log obstacles, bridges, jumps, drops, and two stream crossings. The overall trail takes 45 minutes to walk up and 4-5 minutes to come down, although most people stop and hit the technical sections multiple times. The trail is mainly for downhillers, freeriders, and even BMX riders like to do the bottom jump section. It is too steep in most sections to ride up. |
