Recommended Route:
Shuttle to sunset campground and enjoy the long downhill.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Parrish creek, Buckland ridge

Review:

This trial is a very fast and fun downhill. It is not to technical, therefore bikers that want to give downhill a try would find it very fun. Very rarely is there any hikers on the weeknights, however on the weekends the trail head is packed with minivans.
If you do not keep your eye's open for all of the hidden jumps and drops it will not be as fun. If you do not hit at least 9 jumps you have missed something.

Trail Ridden: Ridden Once
Recommended Route:
Park at bottom where payments ends. Ride up the dirt road to at least Sunset campground. Ride through the campground to hook up the single track and take it all the way down.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
BSL in Layton is okay. Ridding isn't that great around here though. BSL in Ogden or Mueller Park are much better.

Review:

Ride up the dirt road to Sunset Campground. It's only about 4 miles (all up hill) to Sunset Campground. The grade looks steep, but it's not. Watch out for all the local "meatballs" on their 4X4's. Once you get to Sunset you can press on to the top of Fransis peak (about 10 more miles), ride another 3 miles to the gate and interesction of the road that goes up to Bountiful Peak, or take the single track back down. The single track is descent. The waterfall is pretty cool at the top. You can reach good speeds over most of the trail and it's not very technical. It's not very long either.

This would be a good training ride if you go all the way up to Fransis Peak. Then come back down the way you came and reward yourself with a short section of single track at Sunset Campground.

Bring warm clothes any time except July, Aug, and Sept because it gets cold up above 7500'.

Recommended Route:
Shuttle up to Sunset campground andhead to the back of the campground loop. At the very back is a trail that leads to the water fall. Stay on it and come a screamin' down.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Parrish Creek, Buckland ridge.

Review:

This is a fast fun Downhill trail. I have ridden up it and it's not too bad, just a little steep. I'm more of a downhiller so I stick to s shuttle. There aren't any real technical spots but we've added a few drops to make it interesting, so keep your eyes open for them. Good beginner Downhill.
