Recommended Route: It has been shut off, Blake Rooney owns the ground, and decided he didn't want anyone around.

Recommended Route: Is there a way to get there anymore? It was one of my favorite trails in the area a couple years ago but when I've gone since the trail is blocked off by a pretty serious fence.

Recommended Route: Follow Dan's route to Cascade Springs. The creek is relatively high--even in late August. Then follow Eric's loop route back to the dam.

This section of the Cascade Springs trail is much more difficult than the first part. You will eventually descend to the shore of Deer Creek and you can follow the train tracks back to your car! Happy Trails. |
