Trail Description: |
The Trails here are a combination of exactly what you need to train for a race, there are also great trails for average riders as well. ONE of the BEST hill climbs you'll find in this area on dirt, better than Hamilton creek, you'll also find technical wonders here to challenge you like Hamilton creek, but way around them if your not up to the challenge ... I couldn't belive this trail and kept it quite for a year, but had to start sharing. The land owner doesn't mind people riding there and I've talked to the people in the neighborhood and several ride and love having people helping keep the trails clear ... We need to have a work day out there to help keep it up and I think they'll let us clear some more trail. It would be nice to have a second option out on this side of town besides Hamilton. |

Recommended Route: This trail is toast -- there is a construction crew there ruining another prime trail. I will look to see if I can find anything left, but it looks to be toast

DIRECTIONS- Take 40 to Hermitage EXIT - stay with exit till it dumps you into OLD HICKORY BLVD - Stay on OHB till you come to ANDREW JACKSON - Turn RIGHT onto Andrew Jackson (at the BP) - go about a block and turn RIGHT onto OLD LEBANON DIRT ROAD - TURN IMMEDIATELY LEFT onto CHANDLER - Follow Chandler until you come to the STOP LIGHT at TULIP GROVE - Turn LEFT onto TULIP GROVE and follow it until you come to LEESA ANN (about a quarter of a mile) - Go to STOP SIGN (about quarter mile) - TURN LEFT at Stop Sign - go 100 feet Turn RIGHT and follow till it dead ends. You can park on the side of the road. There is an open grass area on the right, you can park there on the side of the road. I wouldn't park in the grass, that's someone's yard. They don't seem to mind you parking on the road and riding. Once you know where you are going, you could actually park on the side of the road just as you turn onto Leesa ANN and ride to the trail head. Check it out, it's got some fun stuff back in there. |
