Haw Ridge offers something for intermediate to expert riders. Definitely a heck of a workout, with speedy fire roads, singletrack, freakin crazy roller coasters rides, excrutiating and seemingly unrealistic climbs and fantastic to scary downhills. Dont be afraid to ride here; doing so will get you in great shape...

On the way to Nashville and a friend told us about this jewel. Lots of trails from beginner to intermediate. Well marked and maintained. Just make sure to pick up a map and only go on trails at your riding level.

Ridge Trail had brutal climbs and decents. Made all of Roller Coaster's climbs other than the last. Saddle Trail was excellent singletrack - not too technical. The trails along the lake seemed to provide the best long consistent riding, just don't fall because the drop into the lake is steep. Loved the variety.

This is a great place to stop over on the way to/or from the beaches of the south. I stopped by on the way home from Hilton Head for a four hour morning ride before heading home. You may feel lost for the first hour or so, but then you will get the hang of it. Not too technical and probably not too much climbing by Ten. standards, but it sure helped a flat lander like me prepare for my summer mountain riding in Colorado. Bottom line: It was all that was advertised and I thank the other reviewers for taking the time to steer me there.

These trails offer a mix of riding. Lots of ups and downs, without too much sustained climbing. If you want to climb and suffer, ride the hill of truth under the power lines to the top. Steep doubletrack with loose gravel FUN ;-).

There are plenty of technical sections to choose from. The descents on Ridge trail are steep and loose. There is also some nice technical stuff on Rainbow. Many of the trails have nice technical sections, but most can be ridden by XC geeks on hardtails.

These are just plain fun to ride trails with lots of SINGLETRACK! They have just enough technical stuff to make you pay attention without making you dismount and walk every couple hundred yards. I recommend bringing anyone here who is thinking about giving up the sport. It will revive them.

Also, for all of you freeriders out there, there is a super-secret stunt trail being built. I haven't ridden it as it is not my style of riding, but I do know it exists. I just can't tell anyone where it is. Check with the guys at Harper's in Knoxville.

it doesn't matter where you go get in to the trails and just keep riding until you can find your way out it is sweet. I starterd riding here but beginners should take it easy.

This is eightteen miles of single track and a power line road. There is some awsome downhills. I would suggest riding this place with someone who has riden it before. there is always riders there ask someone if you can ride with them try to keep up and don't fall in the lake. This is one of the best places in the state i have found to ride have a blast. remember Trails befor tricks (women) always.
