Review:

We hiked this trail rather than biked it. Nice wide clean cut grass trail makes for easy riding or hiking but not too much to see besides woods. We did find lots of interesting wild mushrooms, giant pine cones, and saw some wild turkeys. In a few spots we saw broken glass on the trail but otherwise clean. The "observation tower" shown on the map is actually a short wooden platform overlooking the lake. The trail is marked well with red painted dots on trees along the way but any "features" are not marked by signs at all. Great primitive camping next to the lake. Allow fires and sell firewood cheaply if you can't find your own. Paved roads well patrolled. Clean bath houses with good facilities. Also have peddle boats, beach, canoes, and disc golf. Primitive camping is $9. Cabins and rv camping also available. Nice giftshop & limited store.
