Trail is mostly singletrack with some fire roads and creek crossings. Recommend suspension due to trail is shared by "GOD I SAY IT" horses. Tral can be hard to follow because trail criss-crosses and there are signs marking the way. Recommend first timers go with some one who has riden the trail.

Park @ the lower parking lot next to the dam. Ride past the pic nic area and cross the foot bridge. Stay to your left and ride the trail clockwise.

None, come out west if you want some real trails.

Review:

I wonce rode this trail almost every week for a year(there weren't that many trails in the area at the time). This is the perfect trail for kids or begining riders. No climbs to speak of (I can say that now that I live in an area that has trails that climb 2500+ feet). Watch for deer, I saw 17 during one ride in the fall. There are a few nice jumps and lots of insects. On a technical scale it's a -5, but then again what do you really have there to compair to.

Review:

This is one of the better trails in The Memphis area.
A few climbs ( for around here) and some nice tight single track. not well marked so expect to dbl. back a few times. Yes there are horses on the trail, however it's the riders that tend to piss me off. If youn ride alone consider carrying. Southern equestrians tend to be inbred and inhospitable. Stay off during deer season. It's too bad that a trail mostly maitained by bikers must suffer due to the closed minded stupidity of bubbas. But I like the trail and will continue to ride it, I'll be the one with the 45 in the Camel Back.
