Review:

Rode this trail over the weekend. For a beautiful Saturday and a holiday weekend, I was the only mtnbiker out there. Most of the DINO markings are gone. Other than the spider webs, the trail was in good shape. Very similer to Otter Creek were I do most of my riding. Good mix of everything. I would recommend this trail.

Review:

This trail was designed by mountain bikers and it really shows. Decent climbs with some technical descents no matter which direction you ride the trail, think Otter Creek only closer to Indy. Trail markers were installed 6/30 and they were much needed. Beautiful scenery with park amenities very close to trail.
This is definately a trail for moderate to advanced riders.
Good job Rocky and Nick, keep up the good work.
Worth the drive from Indy

Fun, technical trail. Some difficult climbs, lots of weaving between the trees on the tight single track. Some of the loop is not well marked and appears some of it is not finished, some of the creek crossings need work also, but this trail is a great place to work on your tech skills.

Lots of options. Trail is easy to find near the campground restroom. This is a relatively new trail loop, hopefully there will be some signs posted soon. You can't get too lost by exploring, the trail comes back up to the central area of the park (roads, playgrounds, shelters) every mile or so. The DINO race loop will circle the perimeter of the park. There is a map at www.DINOseries.com

Excellent riding for those who enjoy climbing and / or fast downhills. OK for beginners, just keep speed in check. There is plenty of techincal riding also. Spectacular terrain and good views of the river.
Wapehani fans should like this course.

I rode about half the trails and was impressed. Obviously a lot of hard work went into cutting the trails. A couple of the climbs were callenging but the ride down was very rewarding. There is a nice mix a fairly flat trails to hills and a couple of water crossings. The park is scenic and worth the trip.

From the junction of Hwy. 50 and 7 in the middle of North Vernon, (which is east of 50mile marker I-65), go south about a mile or so. The park is to your right.

As rocky said Nebo at Story INdiana is awsome also. 17 mile out and back very fast and furious!!!

Review:

The trails very from a mild downhill in a loamy type of ground to some steep asents and rocky slck when wet descents. Creek crossings and beautiful scenery if you slow down to observe it. A beautiful park and tight singletrack to add spice. GOOD JOB!!!!

Great scenic trail. I helped cut portions of the trail last November, though parts of it include climbs that I can't handle. Really nice area, though. And some parts of the ride get really fast. If speed scares you or you have trouble with climbs, you might want to make sure you're fresh before mounting up.
