This route is rare, not everyone knows about it. It is simple and basic to ride around.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Oleta Park or Davie, which is at Weston.

Review:

Full of limestone, easy to get flat tires, very very hot, as if you are in the stove for many hours. Best time to go is in the morning, no later than 10 am or else you will be BURNED like HELL.

Not recommended for children.
No challenge, however it is good for exerice such as endurance.

Just ride any of those streets west until you hit krome and then follow krome to south west 136 st. Head west on 136 st until you met the c-11 canal , on the west bank you will find the trail head.

Yes long and monotonous, but is good for resitance training due to its length 60 + miles. Also some other side trails at trail head that have some off road vehicle trails that can be fun!
The northern trail head is on 136 street its called the South Dade green way, the south trail connects in the Everglades NAtional PArk and is called the Ingram Highway

If you are into true backcountry riding, this trail is for you. After riding Oleta River Park, this trail is non-technical to say the least. Yes the limestone rock is rough to ride on , but because of the trail being flat; it all becomes rather tedious to the point u get tired of the bump and grind and dismount you're bike and enjoy the scenery. This place has great scenery and the wildlife is unreal. Gators , hawks, snapping turtles and if you are into fresh water fishing this is the place. If you are into the pure workout ethic this place can be one hell of a ride.

BEWARE!! This is pure backcountry. Espcially if you go explore the other loops. Bring plenty of water and spare tubes because if u get a flat out there , you will have a hell hike back to the trailhead. Last but not least, there is no shade at all!!!!!!!!!1 I do not recommend this trail in the summer months. The heat is intense and the horse flies are a MUDDA!!!!!!!
HAPPY TRAILS!

Trail starts at S.R. 9336 and goes south along various canals to Manatee Bay, several loops arise along the way to manatee bay. The loops are smaller trails that seem endless but exteemly traffic free. They offer in my opinion one of the most spectacular views available in South Florida.

This trail is best for it's length and the fact that it is never crowded (largly because it is not well known). It offers the opportunity to train (mega enduro sytle) this trail can be so long that your but will feel like Jello for weeks to come.

The surface is composed of Limestone, Limestone, Limestone in all sorts of shapes and sizes. some sections are gravley, while others can be cobbley. Beware of the latter it can get darn right technical and bumpy. Otherwise this is a great trail for training and great scenery.
